LRSLA supports Safe Boating and Quiet Lakes on our region\'s surface waters. We are blessed to have some of the most wonderful surface waters in the world right here in the Lakes Region of Southern Maine. In fact this region\'s lakes and ponds have been drawing visitors to it for over a century. Of course we all know that those same virtues which attract tourism can cause impacts to a region and safety concerns. With increased tourism and boating comes increases in safety risks. LRSLA believes that a safe day on the lake can be a fun day on the lake.
