We request, of all members of Congress and the President of the United States, to award the civilian version of the military Medal of Honor, to the 6 teachers/administrators who gave their lives to protect the children of Sandy Hook Elementary School of Newton Connecticut. Additionaly, to create an award for heroism for the rest of the staff who kept their students under control and safe in that horrific event.
