This petition is to improve the beach volleyball facility at Lake Bottom Park. Some of the proposed improvements would be adding a second court, rebuild using official specifications, and landscape to blend with the natural surrounds of the lower park. The current condition at this facility does not meet specifications causing it to be unsafe, thus unused by area players. In addition to safety concerns the current design does not work well with the aesthetics of the lower park area. The volleyball facility, like the other sports facilities at Lake Bottom, should also meet specifications. |
