Name: Anonymous on Oct 26, 2007Comments: You're taking any rightful sense of ownership about your product's name to ridiculous lengths. Jest because you call your product something doesn't give you the right to deprive another person the use of their name. Maybe it's legal, but it's not right. Do the right thing -- don't be a @#$% bozo.Flag

Name: Nemo Inis on Oct 26, 2007Comments: I agree completely and think it's ridiculous for Boston Beers to even try this. Back off state politics that are none of your business and stick to brewing! However, I do like Sam Adams beer.Flag

The one point I would like Mr. Sam Adams to make is that he most likely was around before Sam Adams brewery opened. I think he should sue THEM for copyright infringement.Flag

Name: Todd Allison on Oct 26, 2007Comments: This is a total abuse of trademark. The use of a name outside the area of specification of trademark is allowed by law. Even if this guy's name wasn't Sam Adams, if the website was not used in connection with beer or merchandising, Boston Beer would lose this case. Boston Beer has been sampling too much of their own product.Flag
