Comments: Any true conservative, which I am, cannot argue against the decriminilization of marijuana. Just look at the financial benefit to the government/people. IT IS SILLY THAT MY GOVERNMENT SPENDS SO MUCH MONEY ON ARRESTING AND TRYING MARIJUANA USERS, NOT TO MENTION THE TAXES THAT COULD BE COLLECTED FROM GOVERNMENT DISTRIBUTION.

Comments: LEGALIZE IT & TAX IT AMERICA!!! Why should I pay my hard earned Tax money to support people in jail in the system because they want to be a Pot Head or deal drugs I'm tired of supporting drug dealers that are locked in jails with my hard earned Tax Money. I'm tired of seeing the Police & FBI wasting endless hours & paperwork on these people when their time could be much better served finding a rapist or killer. All these Drug dealers kicking back getting rich while the Amercan School system has to beg for funds & Box Top$. You know how many people have been put onto death row that really are Innocent but the police & FBI are so swamped with Terrorism & Drugs that this takes a HUGE bite right out of their time of solving serious crimes such as Murder or Rape. I think people if they choose the path to do nothing with their life that is their choice. I can try to reach them but I can't control them. Legal or Illegal they will keep doing it. what I am doing & what we all are doing is supporting them not just in Jail but outside as well. All this Tax money being sucked up & for what so we can try to control people.

Comments: Why should we decriminalize or legalize marijuana As President Jimmy Carter acknowledged: "Penalties against drug use should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against the possession of marijuana in private for personal use." Marijuana prohibition needlessly destroys the lives and careers of literally hundreds of thousands of good, hard-working, productive citizens each year in this country. More than 700,000 Americans were arrested on marijuana charges last year, and more than 5 million Americans have been arrested for marijuana offenses in the past decade. Almost 90 percent of these arrests are for simple possession, not trafficking or sale. This is a misapplication of the criminal sanction that invites government into areas of our private lives that are inappropriate and wastes valuable law enforcement resources that should be focused on serious and violent crime.

Comments: It is totally hypocritical for alcohol to be legal as well as tobacco while criminalizing the use of cannabis. I want these outdated laws repealed in this country.

Comments: I smoked weed over half my life and I can honestly say that I never had the desire to shoot anyone or steal a car or money to get weed. I am a hard working honest man and all of the people I know that smoke are also hard working tax paying law abidding (weed excluded) citizens. The govt. say that buying weed supports terrorism, Well how about this legalize it and we'll cut out money going to terrorist! I have never been ashamed of being an Americian until the clown known as G. W. Bush has been in office. By the way how many poeple out there relize that the Bush family and the Bin Ladden family are finicially tied together - HUMMM.I dont know about you but, It makes me wander why the worlds most wanted mas hasnt been caught.

Comments: I think government should legalize pot, it would stop crime and gangs in the U.S. no one here makes more money than the politians. their the ones that control all the laws, they love same sex marriages, money, oil,oil oil, greed. things really have to change here in the U.S. Or there will be another Civil War, The rich againest the poor. And I dont want to be here when this happens.
