Name: Dan Bettens on Feb 24, 2003State:Country: CAComments: I am 100% for the de-driminalization of this harmless herb. In a world of excessive drinking and fast food burgers, controlling someone's health by force is ridiculous. The drug war is clearly a battle that has only losers, no winners. It is my humble opinion that the government should stop using outdated laws as an excuse to demand our money.Flag

Name: Martin Richard on Mar 1, 2003State: NCCountry: USComments: It has been concluded that alcohole, and cigarettes are more damaging than marijuana.Yet,the rigid government of the United States continues to armtwist the Canadian Government trying to force their shallow views on marijuana.I applaud the Canadians being more honest, realistic, and not buckling to the United States pressures.Flag

Name: Aaron C on Mar 3, 2003State:Country: CAComments: As a Canadian I'd like to thank the makers of this petition for a rare bit of support from our friends down south. Growing up watching television from Detroit all I could ever hear was that drugs were for losers and yet that we were never to judge a book by it's cover. Now all I hear is 9/11 this and Iraq that. At least now I know that there are other topics being discussed. Elect a Democrat next term and watch your country take a turn for the better and if not your always welcome to move up here. There's plenty of green to go around boys and girls. Rock on from Sudbury!!!!Flag

Name: Martin Siemienski on May 3, 2003State:Country: CAComments: i truly beleive that we are all quite fed up with america's hypocrytical policies towards not only Canada but the entire world as well. by critisizing canadian policies and invading our privacy, the united states are violating our sovereign rights. maybe the U.S. government should finally take care of its own problems, which are ample, and stop policing the world. Wake up America! your government is leading wars abroad to take your attention of domestic problems. in stead of looking for corruption abroad look into the center of your own country: IT IS ROTTING FROM THE INSIDE! Peace, Martin S.Flag

Name: Erin Rice on May 7, 2003State: ILCountry: USComments: I really do believe that marijuana should atleast be de-criminalized.I can't go to college because I got caught with less than 20 grams of pot when I was 17 years old. I have been punished for life, I will never be able to get an education. Smoking the drug itself caused far less harm to me. You go Canada!Flag

Name: Kyla Vitek on Jun 16, 2003State:Country: CAComments: I am glad the Canadian Government has decided to let people choose for themselves whether or not they think marijuana is for them without the fear of going to jail. I only hope that this is not going to be just another excuse to write tickets, taking the time of officers away from crimes that actually hurt other people!Flag
