“We, the undersigned American citizens, express our gratitude to President Barack Obama and the United States Congress for the unwavering support for Israel’s right to defend her citizens and borders.  Both Houses of Congress unanimously passed resolutions last week that express strong support for Israel as it seeks to defend itself from wanton Hamas rocket attacks against civilian populations in Israel’s south and central regions (S. Res 599 and H. Res 813).  And as the President made clear on Sunday, "There's not a country on earth that would tolerate missiles raining down on its citizens from outside its borders.  So we are fully supportive of Israel's right to defend itself from missiles landing on people’s homes."  

We thank you for your continued support for the U.S.-Israeli cooperation that led to the successful Iron Dome missile defense system, which has saved countless lives.  

We urge the Administration and Congress to continue the unequivocal, bipartisan support for Israel in the days ahead as it bears the brunt of the global war on terror. The American people and our elected representatives stand in unity and solidarity with our valiant sister democratic ally in the Middle East, Israel.”
