Comments: Saltfleet is definately orvercrowded. Th4e biggest issue I find is teachable area and also extracurricular area. Practises before were able to be held during lunches now with the two lunches and ever increasing need for classrooms extracurriculars have begun to dissapate resulting in lower level training and practise time. Extracurriculars a re the fundementals to high school and we are encouraged to do them but when these two lunches interfere now to be int he extracurricular activity you must meet the lunch time requirement..what a crock! We need moer room in the school and this needs to be done soon.

Comments: As a parent I am concerned with Saltfleet being overcrowded. I have lived in this area since 1981 and the building of Saltfleet was something that was undersized from the beginning. My son will attend this school in the fall of 2009. We need to do something.

Comments: Please support the funding for Saltfleet District High School. With the expansion proposal the current enrollment almost meets 500-seat expansion. This school is desperate for more room space to accommodate the rising growth in this area. Please act on this problem immediately

Comments: This is ridiculous - if the funding has been promised, then approve it. Our school is severly overcrowded!!!

Comments: This issues is very important to address. Social planning and development should go hand in hand with plans for expansion by the Board of Education. We cannot continue to supply the needs of all of the new development in Upper Stoney Creek and Binbrook with this one Public Secondary School. We need this expansion to be able to provide quality education to the youth and our future generation. I do not support the use of poratbles for specialty education classes nor the existing building in being in such an unsafe state of direpair with the actual bricks falling off the side of the building in droves. You must take heed of this petitiion and approve and begin the expansion of Saltfleet High School!!

Comments: We are being very reasonable based upon the growth this part of the community is experiencing. As our politicaly leaders have told us the success of our countries economic future will be built on having an educated work force in the all aspects of the sciences and humanities. How can we achieve this goal without the proper facilities.
