Save Our Salford Post Offices!

The petition

On Tuesday June 10th 2008, the Labour Government announced a swathe of Post Office closures for Greater Manchester. These closures included three Post Offices serving communities in Salford:

1. Patricroft Post Office, Lewis Street, Patricroft, Eccles
2. Adelphi Post Office, Oldfield Road, Salford
3. Langworthy Road Post Office, Langworthy, Salford

We, the undersigned, believe that local Post Offices provide a vital service to local communities across the City of Salford. We note the Labour Government's decision to close another 2500 Post Offices across the country including 3 which provide a valuable service for local residents here in Salford, and we urge the Government to reverse their decision to close the Adelphi, Langworthy Road and Patricroft Post Offices.
