Thousands of voters in Saint John have already signed this important petition on paper and via email, but thousands more are needed if the petition is to be effective, so on July 17th we added this ipetitions method of signing the petition. It is projected that the tax rate will increase by about 30% unless the mayor and council stop the spending and start cutting expenses. We cannot afford these increases. During the last election the mayor and council were elected on the premise of lowering taxes. We urge all who are dissatisfied with the city administration, tax rate or future capital expenditures to sign this recall petition.
