Name: Debbie Ninfo on Dec 6, 2012Comments: i would be afraid to use the state parks during any hunting season. I won't even walk a nearby trail that is next to a gun club. It scares me and freaks out my animals. There is no valid reason to open State parks to hunting 9 months of the year. Please recind this.Flag

Name: Ness VanDeWeghe on Dec 7, 2012Comments: Tis indeed a very sad, sad world we live in when persons supposedly 'in charge' (DNR?) of the so called "stewardship" of our state lands (?), will favor and support blood-money from hunters (as well as the killing of beautiful animals in these lands) to fund their organizations over the safety, protection and accessibility of said lands to ALL people because the land belongs to no one but should be enjoyed by everyone!Flag

Name: Joel Patenaude on Dec 7, 2012Comments: Act 168, regarding expanded seasons for where and when hunting and trapping will take place, does not include many cross-country skiing, mountain biking and hiking trail systems or popular rock climbing spots within "designated use areas." The plan also does not take not account the danger of stray bullets crossing trails or traps ensnaring pets, children and adults walking off trails to explore, orienteer or geocache. The need to keep these varied user groups from coming into conflict with one another deserves more consideration and planning than it was given before Act 168 was signed into law.Flag

Name: Linda Hoehne on Dec 7, 2012Comments: Please reconsider the expansion of hunting in our State parks. Keep them safe for everyone, including the animals! Wisconsin has plenty of private and public lands for hunters to pursue their interest, keep the state parks for others to pursue theirs! Thank you!Flag
