There are enough areas in our state where hunting and trapping can be done without putting park visitors in danger from unneeded changed in our state game laws.Flag

Hunters are held accountable for all lead in soil contamination and has to apply lime and wood ash after each fire. Hunters are held accountable for all ammunition release and will be fined and possibly go to jail for shooting any human and animal other than what is in hunting season. Don't put a hunting area by a public park- all the hunters will be in jail... Have appropriate hunting seasons that allow animals to repopulate...Flag

Name: Geraldine Brylski on Feb 17, 2013Comments: This is the most horrid thing I have ever heard of hunting wolves should only be to bring the numbers to what the state can sustain not for the sport of lazy assed hunters only out for sport and chest thumping. My husband hunts deer and bear and only uses an bow and arrows this way he has to see what he is shooting at and puts the arrow in a vital spot so the animal does not suffer. To do this when they have pups is inhumane what are you thinking DNR you are supposed to protect wildlife for the generations to come so they can see them alive and not in books. That judge must have been paid off to render that decision but then I feel everyone in our state is on the take these days. Ie the mineFlag

Comments: You might as well put restrictions on tourism... Do the hunters really spend that much more money in Wisconsin than the tourists? I know with a law like that on the books I won't visit the park system anytime soon...Flag -
