Name: Merri Ann Gonzalez on Dec 23, 2012Comments: State parks should be for EVERYONE, and no one can feel safe walking their dog in a park chock full of traps, and idiots with guns shooting the very wildlife I moved here to be able to see. Everyone needs to be listened to on this issue, not just the trappers.Flag

Name: Jim Abner on Dec 23, 2012Comments: I understand the politics and the economics behind these actions. I am increasingly outraged how the special interests of a small minority trump the interests of the vast majority in this state. Those of us who do not exploit the park lack the deep pockets or influential organizations that support the special interests of the few. While we leave nothing but our footprints, they degrade our experience and exploit our wildlife and parks.Flag

Name: Marvin Schmeiser on Dec 26, 2012Comments: I am a hunter and trapper. I also use public parks and camp grounds. To promote the outdoor activity of hunting and trapping is a good idea. However, the effort to promote trapping and hunting should not compromise the experience enjoyed by the many family's that enjoy our great public parks and campgrounds.Flag
