To whom it may concern

We as Mandalay residents have been robbed many times because of the open field in between Tennyson street and Swart Klip Road. That open field has made it easier for robbers to come into the streets closer to the field and rob residents. This open field is putting a lot of people's lives in danger.

We have noticed that you have planted trees on the field, planting trees on the field will only cause more harm as robbers will hide behind the trees and watch someone pass and run up to them to rob them. It is quite actually the worst thing that could've been done on the field, as the open field is already a danger zone.

Even though we get the fact that it is for a good cause but it will cause more harm then danger.

We urge you to please put a safe fencing around the field. So that people coming into Mandalay can only come through the roads and not the field which makes it easier for robbers to come in and out of Mandalay.

They rob us and run into Khwezi Park. They then jump up into the back yards of the houses in Khwezi Park. We suspect that these robbers are mostly from Khwezi Park and Site C and that is why the open field is advantageous for them.

We ask that you please close the field with a fence to make Mandalay a safer place for the residents.
