The intersection of 43rd & Fremont Avenue is a very busy crossing for pedestrians including families and children.

We need a safe crosswalk installed here.

More info:

1. No safe area currently exists within a reasonable distance from this popular crossing spot next to Fremont Abbey Arts Center, Cafe Vita, Paseo, etc.
   
2. Traffic here is generally moving way too fast as well and parked cars make visibility difficult.
   
3. Numerous people seem to be very nearly hit by cars on a daily basis.
   
4. We need a safe crosswalk installed that would include a painted crosshatch, signage, and plantings to make traffic slow down and notice there are many people walking in this neighborhood. Join with us to make Fremont a safer neighborhood for everyone!
