Ban toxic synthetic lawn pesticides from day cares centers & schools in New Jersey!

We, the undersigned, urge the NJ state senate and assembly to pass
S1143 / A2412, The Safe Playing Fields Act. This bill prohibits the use of toxic synthetic lawn care pesticides at child care centers and schools through 8th grade. It will help protect the health of our children in New Jersey.
Many scientific studies show that children are more exposed and vulnerable to the hazards of pesticides than adults. The alternative, non-toxic lawn/field care methods cost less over time, are effective, and are safer for our children.

My kids play on these fields everyday. No reason to poison them for green grass. Montclair.
Living in Paramus and seeing trucks spray near the playground is really scary. Please pass this bill.
ABOUT TIME. STOP SPRAYING THIS JUNK AROUND OUR SCHOOLS.
Keep the chemicals away from our kids. Plain and simple.
So glad someone is doing something about this. My son has asthma and the chemicals make it so much worse. From Summit.

It is so important that the use of these toxic pesticides stop and that they be banned from use. They are destroying the eco-system. Please sign and share!
