Mothers do the most important job on the planet. Most people believe that. Sadly however, motherhood is not currently being sincerely respected or supported. The status of the profession of motherhood is degraded and disempowered.

Signers of this petition agree that: motherhood is a true profession and the ability to choose it is one of the most important rights of any woman. Any woman who chooses to intentionally and fully engage in the art of motherhood has the right to be financially, educationally and emotionally supported in that role. This petition is about declaring support for the mother rights of a woman. HOW we will create such a supportive world is a complex answer that we will find together over time. But changing the status of motherhood starts with saying yes to that change. Supported mothers are an essential ingredient in lasting world peace.
