Postman Pat is an imbecile. He manages to mess up every single delivery he makes (and he only ever has to do one at a time) and is frequently late. To sort out the problems he creates he often resorts to cranking up the helicopter - at ridiculous tax-payer expense - which even has a private number plate.Greendale is an horrendously over-serviced village which really has won the postcode lottery which is unacceptable in today's economic climate. Pat, and his 'boss' Ben seem to have no grasp of the bigger picture, breaking the law on whim (such as opening people's parcels) to get them out of their own mess.
