Comments: I totally agrre with this petiton, the previous council (LIB/dems were the biggest mishap to services in Oxford backed by the New labour group to break not just Human Rights but also a insult to Democracy proceedures, we should not just have the amature Chief planning officers head but also Goddards and all the cronies who voted for non existing cash the Oxfordshire people will not benifit from plus turning Oxford into a concrete graveyard and crapy looking buildings

Comments: What an appalling petition. You might note that Michael Crofton-Briggs was not even at Oxford City Council when the Westgate redevelopment was initiated a decade ago. I personally don't like the scheme and did vote against on each occasion, but to make this personal on one individual officer when the debate has been held widely and openly over that decade and voted on countless times by councillors is outrageous.

Comments: The time to oppose the redevelopment was at the planning and consulation stage not after permission has been granted. If you care about such things take interest all the time, not just when a fuss is being made by some people with a dubious political agenda.

Comments: Please give us back our Bonn Square - a beautiful, relaxing, informal, tree-shaded garden in the city.

Comments: I totally support the above comments. Mr Michael Crofton-Briggs together with his cohort Murray Hancock, is an arrogant disaster. Mr Crofton-Briggs and Mr Hancock have no idea how to "plan" for a city such as Oxford. They might be better suited in Milton Keynes. Poor Milton Keynes.

Comments: This is not the only planning disaster in Oxford - just look around you. The ridiculous mess round the rail station, the Macdonalds bang in the middle of the town, the bizarre Softbridge building. No one would think this was a conservation city!
