Comments: Nadine Dorries is an accident waiting to happen for the Tories, and they should remove her from the party sooner rather than later, while she's still merely a massive embarrassment and not a serious and newsworthy problem.

Comments: A new Parliament should not be tainted by the corruption and sleaze which tainted the old one. Cameron told us during his campaign that he would bring 'change' - now let him follow through on his promise and show that he won't allow people like Dorries to luxuriate at the expense of the taxpayer. As Cameron has said time and time again, we've all had to make sacrifices - why should Dorries be any different?

Comments: Cameron claims to give us the right to sack corrupt MPs - here is his opportunity to stick to his word. If he fails to, then I might be inclined to disbelieve every word he has ever spoken.

Comments: I live in mid beds, i didnt vote for her.. but she got in anyway. Mainly because people were voting for conservative and not for their MP... most people i spoke to didnt even know who she was. So let the locals have their conservative MP but lets not have Nadine.

Comments: Not all politicians are nice people, I get that. Those who oppose the views of Dr Evan Harris normally do so from profound religious beliefs, I get that too. Allowing the hateful comments she has made about him is not really in the spirit of the "new politics" Mr Cameron has been talking about in the run-up to the election, is it? More worrying, though, is the timing of these latest revelations. Coming AFTER the election which saw so many MPs embroiled in the expenses scandal rejected by the electorate (Jacqui Smith, the most notable) I cannot help but feel that the constituents have been duped, had they known about these things before last Thursday I strongly believe the outcome would have been very different.

Comments: I am a constituent of Mid Beds and am appalled at Nadine Dorries' behaviour. No wonder she fled the hustings in Flitwick last week after discovering it was being recorded. She is unable to answer her constituents' questions. We must have an immediate by election in order to restore faith in our Parliament.

Comments: I'm sure the vast majority of people in the UK have sympathy with friends and relatives of terminally ill people who want to chose the time and manner of their own death; the "not guilty" verdicts of juries in trials of those charged with assisting suicide appears to bear this out. Similarly, very few people want to see a return to backstreet abortions and anyone sensible believes that evidence, where it exists, should inform policy, not religious belief or wild assertion. Yet she smears Dr Evan Harris - a thoughtful and decent man - with the title "Dr Death" for sharing these views with the vast majority of decent people in the UK. Add to this her lamentable history on expenses and I think Cameron needs to ask himself how Dorries has any place in a "modernised" Tory Party.
