Did you know that High Definition Buffalo Sabres games are BLACKED OUT in Buffalo by MSG Even if the game is sold out Subscribers of High Definition Digital Cable and Satellite programming that receive HDnet (and NHL Center Ice programming package) should not be forced to watch NHL Buffalo Sabres games on low-quality, Standard Definition feeds due to out-dated local black-out rules, even if a game is sold-out and even if you pay extra for NHL Center Ice or HD programming. Example, 10/28 Thrashers@Sabres game was broadcast nationally in HD on HDnet, but blocked out in the local-Buffalo market, forcing local viewers to watch the game in standard definition, while the rest of the country enjoyed the game in HD.
