I think Maddie died that night through the parents negligence - all the parents left their children alone while they dined at the tapas probably every night. Maddie was heard on the 1st May crying for her dad for a good half hour but there is no mention of the next night. If the parents were sedating the children so they would not wake then knowing Maddie had woken on a previous occasion they would probably have increased the dosage for Maddie but it was too much for her and she died - finding Maddie either dead or dying the McCanns panicked and hid the body until it could be disposed off at a later date. This is definitely not a case of abduction in my mind. |
