Russian-speaking community of Alberta has been changing rapidly over the past 10 years. We have all come as separate groups of people looking for opportunities in Canada and Alberta. Today we are a substantial community that has to offer a lot to the cultural diversity of Alberta. Today the Russian-speaking community is not just group of people any more; today the Russian-speaking community consist of a theater, variety of newspapers, summer camps, musicians, sport clubs, art schools, etc. Upon a big demand, our community is ready to have its own program on OMNI TV where we can expose success of the community and its achievements in Alberta. We hope that OMNI TV will pay attention to our efforts and come towards the community. Today we want to be seen and heard, we want to raise our voice and contribute to the provincial multicultural life. We want to raise our voice, the voice of Russian Alberta.
