We the undersigned urge Steve Harrison to run for the office of Representative in New York's 13th Congressional District in 2010.

We seek a representative who votes for his constituents rather than the insurance companies.

We seek a representative who understands and cares about working New Yorkers.

We seek a representative who UNEQUIVOCALLY supports labor and who is in turn respected and supported by the labor movement.

We seek a representative who has the integrity and moral courage to lead and to stand up for the best traditions of the Democratic Party.

We seek a representative will listen to his constituents and vote in their interests -- someone who is an unequivocal big- and small-d Democrat. Someone who not kow tow to special interests or individuals and organizations holding views that are antithetical to the interests of working people.

We seek a representative who is a voice of the people.

We urge Steve Harrison to represent the 13th Congressional District and we pledge our full support to Mr. Harrison should he pursue this office.
