Name: Rann on Jan 19, 2013State: GeorgiaCountry: CroatiaComments: Oh my God, I\'m so jealous! My frneid and I did a four week USA trip in 2005 and it was awesome. We went from the UK to New York, flew to Vegas then got the Greyhound to San Francisco. We flew from San Fran to Hawaii then back to the UK via LA so spent a few days there too. Flights hotels and spending money was a32k in total and it was AMAZING! New York is good if you want to experience the ultimate city, Vegas is like one big playground. Hawaii was beautiful, we weren\'t too keen on California but everyone else loves it so we must have been doing something wrong. I also worked abroad for a year or so, and spent a lot of time in India. This place is AWESOME. A totally different experience to America, more about the culture than the sights, though there are plenty of those too. I was working in Hyderabad, a big city where a lot of IT firms are based. This place has grown at an incredible rate in the last three or four years and is now very westernised. I visited Bangalore which is similar. Delhi is more civilised\' I suppose (people drive in straight lines, what is that all about?!). We went to a place on the coast called Vizag (Visakhapatnam) which is very quiet, I wouldn\'t recommend this to a western visitor. Kerala was beautiful. This year I went back to India, but this time to Goa. This is a cool touristy place, I had a great time. I have also been around Europe a bit. Italy is great, I toook a lot of my childhood holidays in Venice which was lovely. Berlin is also cool.Have a wonderful time, wherever you go!References :Flag

Name: William on Jan 19, 2013State: District of ColumbiaCountry: Saint HelenaComments: Ms. Shari: It is not about saying Who Dat. The Monistere’s are not tynirg to say they invented the phrase. Most people know and understand dat! It is about writing a song, copyrighting it, as all musicians do (Steve Monistere started T.Q and the Top Cats), and trademarking the phrase so they can print shirts, cups, jewelry, etc. to promote their song. Note: When you trademark with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, you choose certain categories to file your mark(s) under. There are hundreds of categories. The Monistere’s, in 1983, of course choose apparel, among others, which included t-shirts, hats, etc. And, even if the mark is considered “dead” in most instances, it does not matter. If you continuously use the mark with no interruption, it is your mark. They have used the mark continuously since 1983. After their song became a big hit in Oct. 1983, it became even more popular when the Monistere's had 60,000 placards printed. They, with the help of their friends and family members, stood at the doors of the Dome and passed out bright gold and black WHO DAT? signs before a Saints game. Do you remember seeing those? It is all on You Tube 1983 Who Dat!…Howard Cosell even made a comment about it. The Monistere’s have many licensees as you can read in Mr. Monistere's post below. They, by law, must protect the mark just like Dixie Beer, Budweiser, Nike, Fritos and any other famous phrase owner must to do. They were selling the shirts even when we were the Aints. Then in 2009-2010 when the Saints won the Superbowl, crappy t-shirt shops started popping up everywhere and the Monistere’s had to hire trademark and intellectual property attorneys to protect and defend the marks which they are required to do by law. So, the folks who are screaming the loudest and being the most obnoxious are laughing all the way to the bank at the foolish “sheeple” they have conned because like you, they are not telling you the whole truth of who they are or what they are up to and that is no Koolaid – it is the truth.Flag
