Comments: I have several concerns 1 The capacity of the M6 is likely to need upgrading. This would not seem to be a practical element of road links 3 Birmingham business - surely will be seriously affected if the airport is made more remote, relegating the City to a lower status internationally 4 NEC - Again is likely to become a less favourable venue for exhibitions etc 5 Why should the Midlands take the undercapacity of the Southern airports, surely airports should be basically sited to serve the area in which they are placed 6 Who will bear the enormous additional cost of all of the construction, infrastructure etc - the taxpayer as it will not be viable for a PFI project 7 One of the arguments in favour is the reduced impact upon the population, however this will be negated to a large degree when the 'new' residents working at the airport are in place in the new housing 8 If it goes ahead is there any guarantee that the runway alignment will not be changed making a nonsense of all of the surveys

Comments: My family and I are completely opposed to the building of a massive new airport in acres of Warwickshire green belt. I live in Broadwell, 3 miles from proposed runways. It is a small hamlet where people are friendly and still care about their neighbours and the future of the village's children. It is a way of life that does not exist in many cities. It would break my heart to have to bring up my child anywhere else. Please do not make my family's lives unbearable living under aeroplanes taking off and landing every 30 seconds.

Comments: I am against new Rugby Coventry Airport to be built because we have at least 7 "international/domestic" airports within the 100 mile radius of our home in Coventry. Birmingham International should be expanded instead to maintain its excellent link with existing rail network, motorway and NEC. Besides Manchester, East Midlands, Luton, Bristol could be expanded too.

Comments: There simply is no need for extra capacity, do we keep on building airports and roads or do we let the market decide on the right level of charges. Elementary economics.
