Name: Jonathan Levin on May 1, 2006Comments: Thank you for taking the initiative in this regard. Although we would give anything to be able to reverse the past and have Irwin continue to provide us with his steady hand at guiding our school, we are still extremely concerned with the direction the Board is taking regarding initiatives and curriculum. It is incomprehensible to us that the findings of the two consultant reports which have been presented to the Board have not been summarized for the benefit of the entire Rodeph community. As a result, we have absolutely no idea what direction the school is taking in areas of critical importance to us. We hope, at the very least, pointed criticism directed at the Board will force them to disclose this information for our deserved benefit.Flag

We have searched for a way to support the Board, but based on the information they have provided, we cannot find a rational basis for their actions. Irwin is an asset that this school cannot afford to lose, and certainly not in this way.Flag

Name: Charlene And David Khaghan on May 1, 2006Comments: I'm not sure who to direct this to but I want to put in my 2 cents worth. We have 3 children at another school, I will tell you that since that school lost their headmistress of 20 years ,the school has gone through 2 other headmistresses. Both of whom were not a great fit for the school. The school is in a state of flux with the students losing out academically as well as the parent body feeling like their is no leadership. I don't think that the Board has taken into consideration that their are very few highly qualified people out there. They are making a HUGE mistake ,as I'm sure you know. I feel sorry in every way to lose OUR Irwin. He is a visionary as well as a chevra-man.(A person that cares for his fellow jew) He totally saved our kid!Flag

Name: Emily Adler on May 1, 2006Comments: While we are new to RSS, Irwin has quickly earned our greatest respect and admiration. His vision for the school reflects the educational ethic that we esteem. Irwin knows what our children and families really need. It is because of this wisdom and devotion to our community that he has won the hearts of so many. It is hard to imagine a reason compelling enough to warrant his departure.Flag
