Name: Matthew Bell on Feb 6, 2013Comments: Many staff have worked exceptionally hard and demonstrated full commitment and dedication to the objectives of the RSPCA during their careers to date including some extremely challenging times over the last 3-5 years. This has been particularly acute within the RSPCA Inspectorate which has had to contend with some appalling leadership from the director and then COI. There needs to be some kind of renumeration to recognise this dedication and to actually retain staff who our being financially squeezed to the point that even basic subsistence is becoming difficult. If this situation continues, loss of valuable staff is inevitable.Flag

Name: Sally Jones on Feb 8, 2013Comments: Animal Care Assistants, Supervisors and Managers in Animal Centres are all paid considerably less than in other Animal Welfare Charity Centres. It would be a dreadful shame if staff decided to take the skills we have given them to other charities who value them more highly.Flag

Name: Carolyn Southwell on Feb 12, 2013Comments: Staff are under considerable pressure and the expectation to undertake more work is greater than ever. We have faced some very difficult times over the past few years, but the Society has never been let down because members of staff are dedicated to their roles. We have always been paid less than other charities, so we are now even further behind. We have lost and will continue to lose good members of staff. Please boost moral and listen to staff on the ground and bring our pay up to date. Making ends meet is becoming impossible!Flag

Name: Gaynor Cannings on Feb 14, 2013Comments: There are staff that have got years of experience and are not being recognised for this and in fact getting less disposal income as cost of living goes up. A new inexperienced member of staff can start and be on the same pay as expereinced staffFlag
