I am suggesting celebrating the Halloween trick or treat hours on the weekend days only. If the holiday lands on a Monday thru Thursday we will have trick or treating on the Sunday before. If the holiday is on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday than we will celebrate on those weekend days. The current hours are ridiculous, they are 5 hours. I propose the hours be from 4pm to 7pm. It would make it much easier for all families. Due to the overwhelming working world most of the residents aren't even home until well after dark on the weekdays. Also, not having someone home to hand out candy while the other is taking the small children out is another problem. Please consider signing and supporting this great idea for a fun family weekend.
