Name: Clinton Duke on Sep 17, 2008Comments: Draconian policies - absolutely no valid reason to force the customer to use their supplied router. This has ruined my home network and i have lost connectivity to half of my computers and peripherals. Disgusting behaviour by Sky, and there are many other choices out there. Pathetic.Flag

I want to use a specific router with VPN connectivity and improve on a poor wireless reception. Why not allow it but not support it as so many other providers doFlag

Name: Nick Gorvin on Jun 21, 2011Comments: Having used BT for years with whatever equipment I would like to access the ADSL I have paid for, I was absolutely flabberghasted last evening to discover that SKY have procedures in place to actively block my freedom of choice to use whatever equipment I like in my house to access the ADSL I am now paying them for. I strongly believe this is against my Rights as a Consumer for choice along similar lines to the case that went against Microsoft who by bundling limited choice on certain software. In fact, in some respects it is worse. I agree this needs to be fully advertised in the Public Domain so that when making their choice of Broadband Supplier, the consumer is fully aware of this severe limitation in the SKY Broadband Service.Flag
