Name: Anonymous on May 15, 2008Comments: Ron Paul is one of the few American politicians whom Americans can refer to as a statesman. He is one of the few good men who have ever fought for the civil liberties for those who participate in citizenship to the United States. And, having advocated for peace through trade and dialogue instead of bombs and bullets (where the latter is, sadly, common amongst the rhetoric of many dominant politicians in America today) throughout his whole political career to boot, makes him the common sense choice for the 2008 Nobel Peace Prize. Paul can be considered a synonym for peace, and (for that) I nominate him for this honor, so that the world can learn more of this man and his message of individual liberty and harmony for all those who inhabit this troubled world.Flag
