*Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group* is the crime of which the Roman Catholic church is guilty and because the Roman Catholic Church can be considered a totalitarian state, this is a change that can not be made from within the walls of the Vatican - it must be brought about through civil law and political authorities. Hence, the necessity of instituting this petition is revealed. We believe that through the simple act of allowing Roman Catholic priests the opportunity to marry or select a life partner, the natural law that governs all human beings, clergy or non clergy, believers or non-believers, will not be denied. In turn, the highest ranking officials of this religion will be lifted from the torment that the denial of their most basic human rights brings.

St. Thomas Aquinas, the Roman Catholic Church's most heavily revered theologian and scholar, wrote the following concerning natural law : "All people, believers and non-believers are called to recognize the needs of human nature expressed in natural law and guided by positive law, issued by civil and political authorities to regulate human co-existence".

He said, "When the natural law and the resposibilities it entails are denied, it dramatically opens up the way for ethical relativism (perverse behaviour) at the individual level, and for totalitarianism (dictatorship) at a political or state level. In his studies in the 13th Century, St. Thomas Aquinas tried to discern the intelligence and coherence of the trews of the Christian faith with the help of human reason but always enlightened by faith.

What he was preparing us for was the eventual collapse of the religion that we have come to know.

Genocide is the deliberate and systematic destruction, in whole or in part, of an ethnic, racial, religious, or national group.

Genocide is a crime.

Article 2 of this convention defines genocide as "any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such: killing members of the group; causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group; deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life, calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part; imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group; [and] forcibly transferring children of the group to another group."
