It is a know fact that the government needs to cut spending. One way to do it which doesn't effect military weapons progams or readiness would be to cut defense spending back to pre George W. Bush levels. This would mean a rollback of the privatization which replaced Marines guarding our embassies with high dollar contractors/mercenaries as well as eliminating contractors /subcontractors to feed our troops, a mission they had been accomplishing sussessfully prior to the changes! Contractors have not performed better then our troops so why the unnecessary costs? This would be a common sense solution but we need enough signatures to be heard on this subject.
