Back in April of 2001, Tomorrowland's flagship attraction Rocket Rods closed for good. We believed the ride was doomed from the start due to a loss of a sponsor and budget cuts from former president Paul Pressler. Because of this problem the Rocket Rods were experiencing lengthy down time due to breakdowns. This ended up as a short lived attraction. During it's operation, we believe the Rocket Rods added movement to Tomorrowland. After it's closure the track has been empty for eight years now and Tomorrowland lost that feeling of movement. We believe that the attraction was short lived and should be given another chance but this time without the budget cuts and a track remodification.
