Alot of articles have been written about how rock climbing could make it to the 2020 Olympics. Sadly rock climbing is last on the shortlist, the final decision by the International Olympic Commitee for which sport should be included will be decided in 2013 in Buenos Aires. The other sports on the shortlist are squash, wakeboard, wushu, roller sports, baseball and softball, and karate. As a climber myself, I look forward too the decision in 2013 and I hope that climbing makes it because I will be at the prime age to be in the 2020 Olympics. Some people that have posted blogs about this matter post things like "in my opinion rock climbing will never ever make it into the olympics", they never know! Rock climbing is getting more popular by the second and more people are joining into the climbing community. Alot of the younger members of the climbing community (including myself) are psyched for the big decision in 2013 because kids are the future. When the time comes in 2020...
