So there’s this nasty little rumour flying around that Mr Robert Archibald Sheehan will not be returing Series 3 of your genius and original program. The news, although devastating, doesn’t come as a huge surprise: the Kelly/Nathan thing not happening; the new direction of the show; Nathan Young’s beautiful face and sarcastic wit not getting as much screen time as in Series 1; and the development of all the other characters except his nibs. Thing is, no Nathan Young will equal the painful untimely death of what has been a fantastic show. So we, as Misfits fans, implorrrrre you: - Put off filming until he’s available - Pay him more if that’s what he wants. - Change the script - Mr Sheehan may be worried that he will be typecast in roles as an obnoxious twat for eternity, but eppy 2 proved that Nathan has more than one dimension; surely this would be interesting to explore. - Chain him up in the basement and only let him out when filming. I’ll even keep him at mine if YOU haven’t got room for him. I’ll keep him well fed and watered and take him for walks in the park on a Sunday. But please, please, PLEASE make sure he doesn’t leave.
