The petition
This petition is to voice concerns about the existing conditions at the WNMU racquetball courts in Silver City.
The prices are currently $40.00 for 15 plays. This price is 80% higher than the prices in the local community! We need to change the pricing to allow more people in the community to be able to use the facility. This should not be a money making operation for WNMU!
The courts are maintained very poorly. This has not only created a safety hazard but if not disinfected properly there is a potential to spread blood born pathogens which could cause infectious diseases.
The hours of operation from 5 to 7 P.M. are not realistic. We need to increase the hours of operation of the facility to allow more people time to use the courts. We could staff them with volunteers if necessary. Sign this petition if you would be willing to volunteer!
