I am a Roanoke County, Virginia citizen.
Please introduce, cosponsor, and vote for our county to withdraw and terminate its membership in ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability (formally known as the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives).
Don't just end membership in ICLEI, but also repeal all ICLEI-recommended laws, ordinances, regulations and zoning codes already enacted.
In order to safeguard our private property rights, civil liberties, individual freedoms, and to protect our way of life from mandates of the United Nations and its Local Agenda 21 program, I respectfully urge and encourage you to officially withdraw our county's membership in ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability.
