I am honestly shaking right now because they actually granted the reevaluation and it finally feels like justice is within reach after all this time. I keep staring at the screen and thinking about how 1,325 people decided to care about this boy when nobody else would. We really forced …
I don't think much needs to be said. The boy - yes, boy - was 13 when he commited the crime and yet was tried as an adult? Even more, a 170 year sentence?
I no I don't stand alone when I say he, at the very least, deserves a reevaluation of his case. I'm no lawyer, no legal expect just someone with a heart. Feel free to sign, this is a hate free zone. If you don't agree, then don't sign.
I just checked the screen and saw the number hit a thousand and honestly my hands are shaking a little bit because I honestly never thought this many people would actually care about Ronald. It feels wild to think about all those names on a list and I keep thinking about him sitting there while all of us are out here trying to change his life which just feels so heavy and important all at once.

I was just looking at the count and saw we are almost at a thousand signatures which feels huge but also kind of tiny compared to the absurdity of this sentence. If everyone who sees this could grab just one person to sign then we might actually get someone in an office somewhere to pay attention to how wrong this feels.

I just looked at the screen and saw the number one hundred sitting there which is honestly kind of surreal because I started this on a whim late at night. It feels like people actually care about Ronald and his situation even though the legal system feels like such a brick wall sometimes.

Ridiculous. Nobody should be thrown away like that at thirteen. Let the boy have a second chance.

13 is just a child. how does the system justify a 170 year sentence for a kid who didnt even have a drivers license yet? this is so wrong.
