For the most part, the River Oaks shopping center adds a great deal of value to the neighborhoods. Destroying this movie theater, however, would be an absolute travesty and a MAJOR loss to the community. Keeping it alive is not only the right thing to do -- it is the SMART thing to do. Sometimes the direct revenues from a business are not the only sign of its positive business impact. This theater draws people to other Weingarten properties on West Gray, as well. |
