Is there anything in Houston that isn't in danger of the wrecking ball? I went to my first movie at the Alabama, and on my first date at the River Oaks, so the sentimental value is great here. Can we please stop the insanity? |

I live in Vancouver where we have very, very few wonderful pieces left. The Marine Building is all we have left - lots of boring, uninspired high-rises... pity some people have no respect for art and history... |

| 26413 | Kellie | Must we destroy everything for more concrete and glass? Keep our theater! |

| 26422 | Holly Rotenberry | Amazing that anyone would want to destroy this! |
| 26423 | Elvia Francis | Please do not get rid of the River Oaks Shopping Center & Theater! It not only holds historical & architectural value, but also it provides great entertainment for many individuals {like myself}! |

Some things are more important than short-term profit. Please do NOT demolish the Alabama or the River Oaks. Houston will thank you. |
