We, the undersigned, request that Scenic Hudson and the Open Space Institute lead a public-private partnership to acquire lands in the Hudson waterfront area. Consistent with the Hudson Vision Plan and the letter from 25-year Hudson merchant Jennifer Arenskjold (click here to read in full) this partnership would seek to create opportunities at the waterfront for compatible commercial, recreational, educational, cultural, ecological and other socially-beneficial purposes. Funding could be sought from local, county, state and federal sources, as well as nonprofits, businesses and individuals.Sincerely,
