Comments: Eastern Creek is getting out of control with expenses, and trying to only keep it to the higher end motorsports. The middle class can and will not be able to afford it soon, with the way they are driving away what the new generation of people are involved in! Whether they like it or not, new motorsports are becoming very mainstream...Flag -

Name: Ethan Mckenzie on Apr 18, 2012Comments: NSW really needs another race track. It will help reduce road tolls dramatically, especially around the parts I live, where everyone speeds and drives dangarously because there is nowhere for literally hours where you can have the oppertunity to let off some driving steam! A new track would be amazing!!! Wollongong or even Wilton would both make great places for a new track. Thank you...Flag

Name: Brock on Apr 18, 2012Comments: Despite living in Victoria, I would love to see New South Wales have another permanent motorsport complex. This would be extremely beneficial for a number of reasons, mainly as it would provide more opportunities for people to participate in defensive drive training sesions, resulting in more experienced drivers on public roads and the potential to reduce the the road toll. It would also benefit the local economies of neighboring towns and suburbs when people travel to the circuit in order to participate in club level events, or if major motoring events - such as Easternats/Summernats and V8 Supercars - are hosted at the proposed circuit venue.Flag

Name: Joel Green on Apr 21, 2012Comments: Since the closure of race tracks and motorsport facilities across NSW, there have been a substantial increase deaths related in speeding offenses as a percentage of road toll via the Roads & Maritime Services (RTA) statistics from 2007 - 2010 http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/roadsafety/speedandspeedcameras/index.html Oran Park Raceway's closure in 2009 left Sydney with just one racetrack in that of Eastern Creek. We, the undersigned, would like to call upon the O'Farrell Government to look into a prospective site for a new facility in the South Western Sydney area for a state-of-the-art complex that could also be utilised for race meets of all motorsport categories, and double as a Driver Training & Education for Learner drivers and those that have their licenses suspended. Please Mr. O'Farrell, if this concept could reduce the amount of fatalities upon our roads, then it should NOT be discarded. Kindest RegardsFlag
