In Pennsylvania you can lose your drivers license for many reasons. Some of those reasons are , being behind on child support, failure to make timely payments on fines, truancy in school, underage drinking. These are offenses that do require action, But to lose your drivers license? Pennsylvania, particularly Schuylkill County, has limited public transportation, after 5pm it is impossible to get public transportation as schuylkill transportation system stops running at this time. Instead of taking away a drivers licence or these things, the government should impose fines, failure to pay fines should result in an additional percentage added to the fine. Without transportation it is almost impossible to obtain employment. Then if a person is caught driving under suspension the face imprisonment. House arrest is not permitted for driving under suspension. So if your driving to work with a suspended license to feed your family and get caught you will go to prison, lose your job and disrupt your childrens lives. This process does not help our state to run effectively.
