We (just a small grassroots group of people) bring forth this petition not in our own name, but in the Name of Jesus. For It is written In the word of God in Philippians 2:9, 10 God has highly exalted Him (Jesus) and has freely bestowed upon Him the Name that is above every name. (10) That (at) the Name of Jesus every knee must bow in Heaven and on Earth, and under the earth. (Jesus has given us, who are submitted to his Lordship and rely on Him, the authority to represent Him in His name till he comes back) The very first amendment to the constitution gives we the people, a guarantee that our freedom to exercise our religion and speak freely cannot be hindered by any laws. There is nothing in it, about freedom from religion, or the separation of Church and State, as some would have us believe. There are many voices usurping the authority of the constitution, by twisting the truth and declaring it politically incorrect to speak the Name of Jesus in public prayer, in public speeches, by Chaplains in the military, by teachers in the public schools, etc., because it might offend someone. The Bible tells us in 1 John 4:3, that this is the spirit of Antichrist speaking through them! Do not bow to it. 1 John 4:3 .This non confession is the spirit of the antichrist of which you heard that it was coming, and now is already in the world. 1 John 2:22, 23 says Who is such a liar as he who denies that Jesus is the Christ He is the Antichrist, the antagonist of Christ who habitually denies and refuses acknowledgment of the Father and the Son. (23) No one who denies the son even has the Father. What is more, if you forget the Lord your God and walk after other Gods and serve and worship them, it says in Deuteronomy 28:19 and 20 Cursed shall you be when you come in and cursed shall you be when you go out. (20) The Lord will send you curses Confusion, and rebuke in every enterprise to which you set your hand to, until you are destroyed, perishing quickly because of the evil of your doings by which you have forsaken me. As it says in Isaiah 26:8,9, In the path of your judgments (O Lord) we wait expectantly for you, our heartfelt desire is for Your Name and for the remembrance of You. (9)for only when your judgments are in the earth will the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. But go back to 1 John 4:4 which speaks to those of us who are believers; Little Children, you are of God (you belong to him) and have already defeated and overcame them, (the agents of Antichrist) because He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world." If anyone stands up in opposition, under any other banner (or name), against those who trust in Jesus and that are standing in the Name of Jesus, they will not win, because It is Written in Isaiah 54:17, Triumph over opposition is the heritage of the servants of the Lord." Psalms 33:20,21 says "Our soul waiteth for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His Holy Name." Our Grievance is that Christians are offended when the Name of Jesus is allowed to be banned (anywhere) in our country, in public or private prayers and speeches, etc, especially in our public service jobs, in the Military, in our Public Schools, etc. to appease a few people. We hereby strongly suggest that our elected officials who represent and serve We the people, fear (reverence and respect) God and counter this evil trend in our country, by exercising (their/our) right to the free expression of their/our Christian faith and freedom of speech to which the constitution entitles us. We strongly urge you to stand up and lift up the Banner of the Name of Jesus to go before you in all your battles for what you know is right and good for our country. Introducing legislation that will prevent the use of the Name of Jesus from being banned in any public or private prayer or speech etc. Evil can only prevail when no one stands up to it in the Name of Jesus, and in obedience to what God defines as good. The enemies of our Christian faith and freedoms can only win by default if no one stands up to them. For truly, this battle that we are in is a spiritual battle between good and evilbetween God and Satan. Ephesians 6:12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood (contending only with physical opponents) but against the despotisms, against the powers, against the master spirits who are the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly(supernatural)sphere. This battle can only be won using spiritual weapons, which God has provided. The main weapon is the Sword of the Spirit (the Word of God) and by standing firm in the authority of the Name of Jesus.
