Dear RidePal, Unlike the other Park and Ride stops, the Ace rail stop is not located near an I-680 exit. The bus has to divert to Hopyard Rd and follow internal roads to get to that stop in the morning. Moreover, we've been seeing severe traffic congestions at the Bernal / I-680 junction for more than a month now. All these factors combined - they add anywhere from 20-40 minutes to the commute, one way. Therefore, we urge you to please remove this stop from route 17. This is a request to optimize the route by reducing the stops that are not near an interstate exit. You optimized the route by removing the Windemere Loop in San Ramon, and this request is no different. Folks who still want take the Ace rail could still use Route 27, so this is a win win for all involved. Thanks.
