Johns peak in Jackson county is another sore spot...36 years ago we were racing in Grants Pass and Trail riding at Johns Peak...

| 1072 | Dave Nordin | Southeren oregon needs this mx facility to survive & prosper. This track is safe for amature riders, practices are done by skill level & bike size. Our motocross opertunities in oregon are slim, this inpacts private lands, public lands & goverment owned land in negitive way, no were to ride. In addtion this track promotes & supports family involement. This is what is need in southern oregon- a place to take are kids to ride, were we can coach them & direct them to ride in a oraginzed skilled manner, thus decreasing potential risks accoiciated with off road motorcycles. This track is good for the city of Grants Pass- Keep the track & the riders will come, revenue will be gained by local buisness. |

| 1080 | Jacob DiPaola | One of the reasons I come to Grants Pass is for the motocross track. This brings in my money, and the money of a significant amount of other people who come here to ride helping the economic situation in this community.
ALSO, motocross is family oriented sport that contributes significantly in raising strong balanced children. To keep the sport alive, we need a place like Grants Pass motocross.
Taking a motocross track away from this community does nothing positive. For 5 hours of noise during the middle of the day on sunday, a wonderful thing will be destroyed. This is not right and should not be allowed. |
