| 1009 | Anonymous | I have grown up riding and racing motorcycles, having a safe and organized place to ride was a key factor to learnig proper riding technique. Motor cycles were louder back in 60s and 70s then they are now. Whith having the track at the fair grounds i myself have more control over teaching proper riding technique also, with having the track open it also lessons the amount of ridrers that go to the mountians to ride. Listen people quit be so sensetive,and rember what it was like to young yourself and not have a proper place to do the activities you would of been able to do when you were growing up.No matter where you live there are going to some sort of complaint about where you live. And for few people complaing about the noise you live next to a fair grounds. When will we stop taking away all of the organized for our youth, second example we are losing our bmx track also do to roads and people complaining about lighting, where does the pettiness end, you want to live in a community where crime rates and vandlisim is low, correct, then stop taking our right to be able have proper enviroments to perform our recreation!!! |

| 1023 | Heather | There's so many things that go on at the Grants Pass downs. The motocross riding being hands down my favorite of them. And so many of my friends practically live on a dirt bike. It's like taking a baby away from its home. (or something to that effect.) Motocross boys are passionate about this sport. And on occasion they can only make to the Grants Pass track. Like myself. I can't always drive out to Central Point or Medford to cheer on my friends. And besides.. what else does Grants Pass have to offer its youth? |
