954	Jeff Brookman	What a great facility in Grants Pass. I live in Medford and love to ride at GPMX. It would be a shame to close that track due to a few people complaning of noise. Come on it's two nights a week for a few months out of the year. Do they complain when the monster trucks are there? Or The concerts? We as motorcycle enthusiasts are constantly loosing more areas to ride. Please don't close down another!

963	Cynthia Foster	There will always be people who complain about noise from a motorcycle just because it's a motorcycle. Noise from lawnmowers is usually louder (or at least as loud) but you don't get complaints from that because it's "acceptable." Too bad most people are so intolerant. I think that's called bigotry.

965	Kurt Beckman	As a local OHV business owner, it is unfortunate that the views of a few can have such a negative impact on such a positive family environment. The Rogue Valley and surrounding areas have a large amount of small businesses that depend on OHV areas and motocross tracks to make a living. By shutting down this track, not only are you taking away a positive way for families to spend time together, you are also hurting the local economy.

978	Rafe Natho	We are running out of places to ride and your track is very conveniant to boot. Its the fair grounds for crying out loud. It gives kids something to do that keeps them out of trouble, how many times have we heard people complain about kids causing trouble because they have nothing to do! I urge the people trying to shut GPMX down to consider what they would rather deal with, a little noise 2 days a week or kids loitering, causing a rucus, damaging public and private property and causing a general nusance!

If you want more kids to get in trouble with the law and cost us more money in the long run then get rid of all riding areas such as this. If you want to help in keeping kids out of jail then support this very positive activity. Those who want to get rid of riding areas, such as this, are not looking at the big picture when it comes to our children.

993	JoDon Ireland	The same thing happened when I was a youth riding in the Rogue and Illinois Valley. Motos at both the Grants Pass Fairgrounds and at the Kerby Race Park near Cave Junction. When these places get shut down, it has a negative affect on our community and the youth. The races and tracks bring money into our community. People buy food from our stores and resturants, buy gas at our gas stations, stay in our hotels, and visit our tourist areas. All good things for a community that could use as much help as possible with an economic boost and providing jobs for our locals. Also, keeping tracks open helps teach riders how to ride with the proper equipement, to follow rules, keeps riders from riding on restricted public and goverment lands, and gives kids and families another option to do something together. Families, youth, and our economy need as many options and as much help as possible --- especially if the option has so many possitive affects. Please keep GPMX open, it is a great place that offers promise to our valleys. JoDon Ireland

1000	jessame ireland	These facilities are far and few between, yet a very important outlet for your youth. Furthermore, opponents of such facilities have little knowledge regarding what a family sport Mx riding is (the numbers are astounding of entire families that enjoy throwing a leg over.)
