Richfield is the biggest community in our area, yet car loads of people leave Richfield every day during the warm months headed for Salina and Manti. Why is this? To swim in their outdoor pools and aquatic center. It would be nice if Richfield city residents could stay in Richfield to enjoy water activities. Richfield does have a pool, but combined with the cold water temperature and indoor setting it is not the greatest place to enjoy the summer sun! We are not suggesting to revamp the pool as that would be costly and not feasable. What is being suggested is to build an outdoor splash pad or park. Let's get our voices and comments heard and take it to the city council!
